Christmas Festivities

Jordan-Kimsey Christmas
Friday evening at Grampy's house:

Our evening included our annual DVD exchange and holiday songs.
Christmas Eve Morning
Saturday morning we were back at Grampy's to celebrate with Grampy, Dondi, Roy and the boys.  The boys suited up in their superhero capes and masks that Uncle Jim & aunt Diann bought them for Christmas.
Emory wore Deona's childhood SuperGirl cape and Mardi Gras mask.
Just like one of the big kids.
We spent our time watching "Despicable Me", having a yummy leftover meal and playing games with/on Grampy.
The boys' favorite new playspot - the wood box.
Christmas Eve Evening
Aunt Schneider came over for dinner - black bean tamales, homemade rice and salsa.  oh and wine.
Later Debbie and Sandy joined in for a little Wii Fun!
Before going to bed we left a plate of tamales and cookies for Santa.

then good night hugs and kisses.
Christmas Day
Santa left lots of presents...
...and crumbs.
Then a hearty breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy.
We've had a wonderful Christmas weekend, we hope you have also.
I am missing my family in Austin and am hopeful we will get to see everyone over the New Year's holiday break.  HEY FAMILY!  If you don't already have plans, please come help us bring in the New Year at my parents home in Wimberley.
Here's to a New Year and New Beginnings!
Blessings and hugs to all on Jesus' Birthday!!

Meeting Santa

The boys met Santa at Lincoln Square today.   Everett was really excited to hop on Santa's lap and tell him he wanted a Thomas game.
A highlight to visiting Santa was getting to see a train.  Both boys love trains and were really very happy about our trip to see Santa today.

Happy 90th Birthday Grandma Cross

We made a quick trip to Stillwater, OK on Saturday to celebrate Deona's grandmother's 90th birthday this past weekend.

Aunt Deanna, Grandma Cross & Debbie
On our way back the same evening, we stopped in Ardmore, OK to view the Trail of lights.  Totally worth the extra hour and a half.

Thanksgiving Day

Our day was filled with lots of food, family, football and fun! Right Emory? LOL!
My dad with his four grandsons and great-grandson Maxton.
Look how gorgeous my great-nephew, Maxton is...he OBVIOUSLY gets his great looks from his Auntie M. :-D
