San Marcos River...

 ...is cold.....EVEN in July.  Yes, the water flows at a constant temperature (around 72 degrees Fahrenheit) year 'round, so you won't see any pictures of me floating / lounging on the river.

Granpop & Granmom's Playground

We visited Granpop & Granmom in Wimberley this weekend.
Bonus:  cousin Maxton, uncle Dodo & aunt Tammy came over to play!

Florida Beach Trip - Part 2

 LEGOLAND!

 Because we have two boys who love Legos way more than a beach roadtrip.

Indeed an exhausting (& expensive) day, but worth every dollar memory!

Florida Beach Vacation - Part 1

 We made a roadtrip to Florida, in hopes of finding jobs so that we might call this tropical state our new home.  Well, Deona did secure a job (in Pensacola), but after checking out the town, schools and  neighborhoods, we decided Pensacola was not where we needed to settle our family. We did however, enjoy traveling all along the gulf side of the Sunshine state.

Indian Rocks beach was an impromptu stop for "watching" the sunset. 

The boys "waded" in the water until it was time to pee leave.  :)

The "sunset" was beautiful, don't ya think?  :)
