Last Day of Swim Class 2012

Another year of swim classes comes to a close. I am very proud of our boys; neither are afraid of the water and love to swim every chance they get. I noticed a huge change in Everett this week - feels like he's more independent and really enjoying making new friends and interacting with others.
His swim instructor Ms. Ruhde is absolutely, possitively the best - love her instruction and the kids really respect her.

Here are a few photos and videos from today, the last day of swim class.

Ready for the slide. again and again and again.

After swim class the kids are rewarded with candy so it was difficult to get them to "look at the camera".
Love Ms. Ruhde's pose. :)

Sizing Up

I was feeling like I needed to take a couple of pics of the boys today because they appear so much older and taller this weekend. :(   Oh and you probably noticed Everett got his long hair chopped off; Emory is next.

First Concert!

The boys experienced their first outdoor concert - EVER - and it was AWESOME!
Award Winning Rock and Roll for kids. The Anti-Barney, the Wiggles' worst nightmare...the BOOGERS!
Both boys loved it however you might have thought otherwise with Everett's barely moving to the music.  I can assure you this reaction was a good sign, a sign of intense concentration; absorbing every song, every beat.  Since the concert Everett has been singing Booger songs, Booger style accompanied with air guitar and a huge "1!2!3!4!"
