Though his "official" weight isn't taken for another 10 days, I decided to place him on our scale. If you're having a diffucult time reading his weight....it's 19.5 pounds. :) If I recall, I believe Ev weighed slightly over 16 pounds at 4 months.
DEVELOPMENT
Size - Emory is wearing size 6-9 months & 12 month clothes, just depends on the item, and size 3 diapers. His 4 month doctor's appointment / check-up isn't until August 20th, so I don't have his official height or weight at this time.
Eyes - still blue but sometimes they look green.
Hair – still light brown.
Some of the things Emory has been doing...
-Drooling
-Hands and fingers in mouth
-Starting to giggle
-Lots of babbling/talking
-Holds head up when sitting
-Bears weight on legs
-kicks with legs alot and also likes to dig his toes in our side. :)
-Grasps objects with both hands
-Enjoys being rocked, bounced or swung
-Turns towards sounds and voices
-Voluntarily grasps and holds objects
-Can tell family and strangers apart
-Watches Everett intently
FEEDING
Currently little E is eating approximately 6 oz, every 3 hours or so. He is still taking 1.0 ml Zantac, twice a day.
SLEEP
Emory typically goes to bed around 10 p.m. and wakes up around 5 a.m. There is still an occasional night when he wakes every 3 hours for feeding. After 6 ounces of formula and a diaper change, Emory goes back to sleep. Lots more sleep = happy moms.
ACTIVITIES
Emory’s favorite activity continues to be snuggle time. He absolutely LOVES it. He pretty much enjoys everything including pallet time and exersaucer. Very little upsets Emory, he is an absolute angel. We are truly blessed.
