a little emotional

Our Everett is no longer a baby. I'm not only speaking of his measurements, or the sizes of clothing he is wearing, but more so about how he communicates with us. He uses both verbal and non verbal communication through words, gestures, and sign language. Today before nap time, I asked Everett to "get your blankie"; "get your milk". He did just that and afterward walked back towards me, then held up his arms for me to pick him up. I am a very proud mommy; yet a little emotional about it all.
