Goodbye 201 Canyon Gap Rd.

After 23 years, my parents made the bittersweet decision to sell their beloved home nestled in the woods. It was more than just a house; it was a sanctuary my dad meticulously built. It was where Mom cared for her plants, and where they found comfort together on their porch swing.

In those woods, we crafted memories that became the foundation of our family story — from the shared joy of birthday celebrations and holidays to summers spent in the parked pop-up camper in the driveway. The trees bore witness to the milestones, the laughter, and the quiet moments of reflection

Some of our favorite memories include watching the boys ride big wheels down the driveway, floating paper boats down the babbling brook, catching lizards, worms, and frogs, feeding the fox and deer stale leftovers to sleeping in the two-story treehouse. One memory we will never forget are the golf cart rides at dusk—these moments will forever be some of our fondest memories.

Yet, as time moves forward, so do we. It's time for them to bid adieu to the endless chores and upkeep of a sprawling house and acreage. But the memories, oh, they will remain forever etched in our hearts.

I'll miss you 201 Canyon Gap Rd. 😓
