a new form of communication & 4's

We all know babies communicate through crying, laughter, and facial expressions.
This week, Everett started communicating a little differently.

After getting up from his afternoon nap, Ev pointed at a cross that we have hanging on his bedroom door, then started talking (babytalk, of course). It was quite apparent he was saying, "Mommy go over there, I'd like to see that cross, please.

This afternoon, it happened yet again. Deona picked Ev up from Mother's Day Out; as soon as she walked into his classroom, he pointed towards the window and started sharing a story. The teacher said he was probably telling her, they had been outside to play today.
Super cool.

Oh, and one other thing. Ev's out of his 3 diapers and now wearing a size 4. BIG BOY!

Pictures from tonight (dinner at Joe T Garcia's). Phone pics, so they are poor quality. :(
Everett LOVES guacamole. We're tickled about that.

Obviously upset about something; not quite sure about what.
After dinner, we stopped by one of the fountains:
"Can I, Mommy?"
"Mommy said okay!"

"Hey, THAT was FUN!"
