Our first trip to the Arlington Public Library.

I'd like to tell you that Everett had a blast on his first trip to the public library; unfortunately, he woke up cranky from a nap. Bless the poor little old lady, who tried to be sweet to him, he obviously wasn't the the least bit interested in making friends today. :-/
Bribing him with Cheerios seemed to temporarily pacify him, so I could apply for our library card. After getting our card, Ev and I headed to the "Juvenile Book's" area. He seemed happier and we were there long enough to pick out 6 books:

• Hug, Hug, Hug!
• Ten Dirty Pigs
  
• My Little Color Book
• Love Tails
• Baby! Baby!
• The Itsy Bitsy Spider

and 4 videos:

• Elmo's World. "Opposites"
• Blue's Clues "Shape Detectives"
• The Muppet Movie
• Mary Poppins

I'm hopeful our next trip to the library will be more pleasant, as I'm sure he will be excited to check out the next set of books and videos.
