Mama's first day of summer vacation...

...and what a great way to start the summer! The three of us headed to Randol Mill Aquatic Center for a picnic lunch and some fun in the sun. After sunscreening, we realized we forgot to bring Ev's sun hat and sun glasses! Lucky for us, I always have a doo-rag with me, so today Ev got to wear it on his head for protection against a sunburn.
There was so much fun to have. We had a super time floating the lazy river (3 times), and playing on/under the waterscape. Everett especially liked turning the red wheels, which turned the water fountains on and off.

Not even out of the parking lot and our baby boy was fast asleep (with broom, of course). :)

A great way to spend an afternoon; I'm sure we'll be back.
