Christmas with Grammy

We enjoyed a very nice Christmas celebration with Grammy this evening.

Everett enjoying games at the restaurant.

After dinner at Spaghetti Warehouse, it was off to Grammy's apartment

Anybody home?

Grammy even bought baby E some gifts, too. :) For "E"'s sake, we hope you're a girl, because you have quite a collection of pink stuff already.

I enjoyed watching Deona open a very special gift from her mom. This memory box contained many cards from her birth, birthdays, school work and report cards.

Debbie shares a few of her favorites:

"Christmas, Christmas"
Christmas, Christmas, I love Christmas
Songs sung, smiles with cheer,
Santa comes to help us celebrate this year.
Christmas, Christmas is a time to love
Cause Jesus was born for he helped us.
Christmas, Christmas, what a time,
Christmas, Christmas, give a dime.

"Ringo the Santa Raccoon"
Once there was a raccoon who lived in the forest. He loved December very much because he always go to help Santa. One Christmas he went to Santa's house but Santa didnt feel good. So Ringo went back home and got some corn. Santa always ate his corn but this time he didnt. Ringo was sad that he couldnt deliver the toys. Then Ringo jumped up and said, "I know!" I can go deliver the toys. then he put a red hat on and a red suit and he was off. So everybody had a Merry Christmas.

Everett takes Mama's Christmas money & runs! :)

The meanings of Christmas are many. One of the things I love most about Christmas is spending time with family and friends. Deona and I look forward to creating meaningful traditions with our children and are hopeful that they too find this meaning MOST special. Thank you Debbie for a memorable evening.
