Everett meets Santa at Camp El Tesoro!!!

Camp El Tesoro is a very special place for Deona and I. We heard Santa would be visiting Camp E.T. this year, so we decided to take Everett.
Driving in to Camp E.T.
Entrance to camp.

We thought this visit would also serve as a great opportunity for Ev to run off some of his energy...

and there he goes!!!

Ev stops to look at the river below.

Mama chasing Everett on the swinging bridge.

We are greeted by some friendly, familiar faces. This is Heather. She's a dear (in more ways than one) :o) Heather is also one of my former campers and counselors when I directed camp, years ago.
Ms. Linda, the camp cook, greets Ev with a hug a chocolate chip cookie!
Thank you Ms. Linda!!!

This is Ev's "Special T", aka Toni! Toni directs camp at El Tesoro AND she's a very special friend to us.
Everett finally meets Santa!

8x10 photo, compliments of Camp E.T.
And guess what? "Ori" was a camp, too!!! (Ev's godmother). Everett had a great time running and playing with Ori.
Mama & Ev at the historical camp bell.

Everett had a great time runnning and goofing around...
There were lots of sticks to collect!

and plenty of trees to climb!! (look at those dirty knees) :)
Everett runs into Santa OUTSIDE!!!
We didnt see Santa's reindeer, but proof they too, were at Camp E.T.
Back inside, Everett makes himself at home and claims a candy cane.
and then a game of "chase" with Special T.

Thank you Donna and David, Everett LOVES his new books!!! Incidentally, Donna & David are Heather parents.

Time to head home...

We had a wonderful time and Everett wore himself out. Another memorable time at this very special place, we call Camp El Tesoro.
