Emory is SIX YEARS OLD Today!

 Emory turned SIX Today...

and to celebrate we planned SIX fun places to visit! 

 1st stop - the beach! 

 

2nd stop: The trampoline park

 3rd stop - Chuy's for lunch

4th stop - The Children's Museum at Moody Mansion

One of the play areas at the Museum  is an exhibit sponsored by UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch). Children can play doctor, schedule doctor appointments, take care of babies and weigh / measure themselves.  

Today Emory measured 48" tall

48" = tall enough to ride the rides at Pleasure Pier! 

(Emory has grown 3.25" since his 5th birthday)

 He weighed 54 pounds. (he's gained 11 pounds since his 5th bday)

 

 

After the Children's Museum we visited the Garden (Stop # 5) then

headed to Rainforest Cafe to take a ride on the RiverAdventureRide

then of course a Volcano birthday cake!

• Hobbies: loves to read books, puzzles, anything StarWars

• In his bed: Biscuit (stuffed dog), Sahara (stuffed elephant), Berry (ballpet) + 10 other stuffed animals plus his night time reading book under his pillow.
• Personality: Strong willed, stubborn, chatty, smart, sweet, polite, helpful, inquisitive, chatty, imaginative, and did i say chatty? 
• At school: very good student, compliant, his teacher says "he's a good friend to everyone", a leader, popular; everyone wants to play / be with him.
• Loves: Animals (especially cats), loves to read (fluent - Level M & N), loves board games, going to playgrounds, camping and playing with his brother, friends and cousins. 
• Talent: creating stories, songs and (Irish) clogging. :)
• Accomplishments: Tested Gifted/Talented in school, Tee-ball (great at batting), gold belt in Taekwondo 
• Quirks: Emory is NEVER wrong. He talks constantly (holds true 1 year later). Leaves a trail (food and toys) wherever he goes, Laughing = hiccups. He has a tendency to fall over for no reason at all,  followed by laughter then hiccups . :-)
