Everett's first day of "Mother's Day Out"

Here are a few pictures of Everett's first day of "Mother's Day Out".
Ev will be going to MDO, twice a week; thank you Grampy for agreeing to take Ev to school once during the week, this really helps us out.

Because Grampy took Everett to school, we didnt get any "Going to School" pictures, however we were able to take some when we picked him up.
The teachers said he had a "happy" day and that he is so much fun (we knew that already). :)
Deona and I are highly impressed with the staff and programs at First Presbyterian Preschool. We're looking forward to Everett growing emotionally, as well as learning to socialize with the teachers and other children at his school.

The playground

Mama shows up to pick up Everett (Ev with Ms. Jessica)

Everett is emotional, yet very happy to see us. Poor baby.
Stops crying very soon after.
Especially since we gave him his daily school journal to tear up.
The boy lovessss paper.

Everett's crib

Everett's info card on the nursery wall.
Everett's name plate on the wall, over his hooks.
Where we collect family memo's as well as leaving his lunch and diaper bag.
Everett's "First Day" baby journal.
If you look closely, you can see where Everett ripped the journal (and also his teacher's poor spelling) :)
We're glad he had a good, first day.
Everett did great, we're so proud of him.

this is so sad, but cute at the same time. I love the paper they give you telling you how he ate slept and about his dirty diapers. It looks like a really nice place, Ev will be lucky to go there. I hope it works well for all of you.....

I have to say........I can't believe how many diapers that place uses..... is that normal in america???
Our diapers in australia are very absorbent and can last several hours and several wees. We use about 5-6 per boy per 24hours. We've never had diaper rash yet!!!

Are they wasting diapers or is that normal over there??
