We had Everett’s one year appointment today. Here are his stats.
Weight: 23 pounds 3 oz which is in the 50%
Height: 31.5 inches which is in the 90%
Height: 31.5 inches which is in the 90%
Everett did great for his visit. Our doctor was right on time, and made Everett smile and laugh throughout the appointment. She mentioned Everett should start drinking whole mike in a sippy cup, and finishing off the last of our formula. What a sad thought for Mommy; it’s kind of symbolic for me…when the formula is gone, so is infancy. Wahhhhhhh! She also recommended using sippy cups for milk and not formula and to rid bottles as soon as the formula is finished. WAHHHHHHHHH! *sniff, sniff*
Doc also said, everything sounds and looks great, and again indicated “he’s absolutely perfect”. :) We love our pediatrician. After doc left the room, in came the nurse to administer four shots (measles/mumps/rubella, chicken pox, pneumococcal conjugate, Hepatitis A).

Everett’s smiles and laughter quickly faded.
Actually, Ev managed his four shots very well. I think I had a harder time with it.
