Day Out with Grammy

We spent our afternoon with Grammy at the Fort Worth Zoo.

Of course our first stop was to ride the train.   On our ride we passed TRex. Dinosaurs Unleashed is a temporary exhibit featuring 12 animatronic displays of dinosaurs that once roamed the Texas landscape.  The exhibit opened yesterday and runs through July 10.

 Ev & Em had alot of fun throwing coins into the wishing well.

It was so fun to run into Sylvia, Sarah & her four boys.  How is it that people can live in the same town/city and rarely ever run into each other yet go to another city/town and you see them?  Interesting. Perhaps we'll run into them at Disney World this Christmas? :o) 

OH! We did see the elephants today. 

 Having a family membership to the zoo is quite wonderful.  We don't ever feel guilty for shorter visits or visiting only an exhibit or two. Sometimes our visit is just about getting to spend a day out. Today it was our day out with Grammy.
