Beach Trip {Day 2}

Early a.m. we hit the beach...

Grammy & Ev  build sandcastles.

Ev getting buried in sand.

Emory had the three of us absolutely exhausted from chasing him. 

No fear.

Sweet exhaustion.

Later in the afternoon, Grammy volunteered to stay back at the condo to nap with Emory while Deona, Ev & I  head back out to the beach.

There were lots of seashells to collect.

We found a hermit crab.  Everett LOVED him.

Not to worry, the crab was later returned to the ocean after observing and toting him around for an hour.  Everett was sad, however pacified knowing the crab needed to go home for dinner.

We also found really cool creatures living on groupings of broken shells. 

Galveston!

A visit to the beach wouldn't be the same without seagulls.

...and lots of sand scrubbings.

Not sure what the day has in store for us tomorrow, but anticipate a dolphin tour.  Having the best time at the beach!
