Everett's Soccer Debut

 Everett had his first official soccer game today. They (The Dino's) played the Lil Rascals and won 2-0.  It was quite entertaining. Hopefully, Everett will learn a few skills over the season but mostly we just want him to make friends and have fun.

 Everett looks so grown up in his soccer gear.   Although he is not wearing his official team jersey in this photo, Ev is wearing a size 4T shirt, 2T shorts, Peewee socks w/shinguards and size 11 shoes.

The children in this soccer league are ages 3-5 years old.  There is a great deal of variation between physical size, and abilities.  Most of the time younger players run around and chase the older kids.

Younger players like Everett & cousin Matt prefer falling on then picking up the ball.

 And some players require more breaks than others. :-)  Way to hustle, Everett!

During one of Everett's many (self-appointed) breaks, he decided it was time to get up and move when he realized the soccer ball was headed his direction. Blasted soccer ball for interfering with Ev's break. ;-)
