A surprise visit!

We LOVE surprises!
Uncle Donato and aunt Tammy arrived Saturday to attend their son's (and my nephew, Chad's) band competition in Duncanville. Even though it was for competition, we were able to spend quality time together; we had a blast!!
Deona, Ev & I headed out in the motorhome to meet uncle D & aunt T at the stadium. Chad's band was last to play, YET placed 1st in the 4A competition. GO REBELS!!!

Ev & uncle Donut leaving the stadium.

Later, we would return at 6:15 p.m. for the finals. The long break allowed us to spend some time away from stadium. We loaded up the motorhome and headed to Sonic to pick up some lunch for a picnic at Cedar Hill State Park. We found the perfect shaded spot, overlooking the lake.
It worked out perfectly PLUS we felt like we were out for a weekend camp trip.

Playtime with Mommy.

Later, we returned to the stadium (6:15 pm) to watch all the bands in the finals.

My super talented AND adorable nephew, Chad.

Chad's girlfriend, Leah.
Everett did amazingly well. He was mesmerized with every band performance, and was incredibly good.

It was quite moving. NOT the performances, but watching our son. :)

We couldn't believe he sat for three hours without one fuss. We were all very proud of him; including those who sat around us. We believe we have the happiest baby in the world. :)

Sunday morning, we hung out at the house:
Ev had so much fun with his aunt Tammy!

Later, we went to a nearby park in Pantego:

Uncle Donut got a "wedgy"

I wonder who's having more fun. :)

"Come back aunt Tammy & uncle Donato, I miss you already!!!"

We had the most perfect visit ever, and we're looking forward to camping over Thanksgiving holiday with aunt Tammy and uncle Donato.

Everett is SO SO SO cute, we love your photos - you're caputring some really cute smiles and cheeky looks now, love it!
We'd love to meet you guys one day. Tracie has a brother that lives in America, and this month he's moving to texas. We plan to visit the USA when the boys are about 2. if he's still in texas maybe we can meet!?!?!?
