16 week doctor's appt

We had our 16 week check up on Wednesday. All is progressing well and we were able to hear baby's healthy heart beat, for the very first time. We werent scheduled to have a sono, but Deona's pouting and threat to start crying was just enough to convince our most fabulous doctor. :o) I have never felt so lucky to have found a doctor, as we have with our doc. She is exceptional, in every sense of the word. During our sono, we convinced her to look for genetalia. :) By the looks of it (& it's still fairly early), it's looking like we have a girl! We'll have a better idea, in two week (the Wednesday before Thanksgiving). We're so blessed and have so much to be thankful for. Please continue your good thoughts and prayers for a healthy pregnancy for Deona and baby. Hugs!!!
