According to Babycenter, Emi now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel.
Her muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and her head is growing bigger to make room for her developing brain. And because her bones are soaking up lots of calcium, mom should be drinking lots of milk (or find another good source of calcium, such as cheese, yogurt, or enriched orange juice). This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in baby's hardening skeleton each day.
Note: Every baby develops a little differently — even in the womb. Information is designed to give a general idea of baby's development.
The following 3D sonogram is of a 29 week fetus and not Emilia. Deona has an appointment for Emilia's 3D scan at Window in the Womb in Southlake this month. Please let us know if you're interested in joining us.

Hey ladies,
great to hear all is going well with the pregnancy. Very exciting. Emi will be here before we know it. I wish we lived closer, I would love to meet y'all (is that the right way to say it in texas?!?! LOL)
PS, love the new design of the blog. Very appropriate to include Emi in the family story. Makes me wonder what we will do if/when another baby joines the story....
