While I was changing Everett's diaper yesterday he called me "mommy" for the first time. I know this seems odd for a 2 1/2 years old, but for some reason he hasn't been able to say the word. For a while now Ev has referred to Deona as “máma” (accent over first a) and me as “mamá (accent over the second a). It's like a light went off in his head, and as soon as he said the word, he's been saying it ALL the time. :) None-the-less, this Mommy is happy.
