Another milestone

While watching his favorite show, It's a big, big world, Ev decided he wanted to stand (without any help).
I started timing him, as i couldn't believe how long he was standing. I counted 12 whole seconds (real seconds...like, 1-one thousand, 2-one thousand...3-one thousand... you get the idea), before he finally sat down.

Also, I'm not sure whether to count today as taking his "first step" or not...
This afternoon, Ev took a step before reaching out to me. This evening, he did the same thing for Deona.
Oh goodness, our baby boy is growing up so fast and we can't slow him down.

Everett, we're not ready for you to walk!
